FAQ
At Fantasy Gemstones, we want every client to feel supported and informed throughout their experience—whether you are purchasing a loose gemstone, commissioning a custom piece, or meeting with us privately. Below you’ll find clear answers to our most common questions.
Can I see the stones in person?
Yes. You are welcome to view gemstones during any of the shows we attend throughout the year.
We also offer private appointments for clients who prefer a one-on-one experience.
Private Appointments
- Zoom or in-person (Phoenix, Arizona area)
- Non-refundable $300 consultation fee
- The fee is credited toward your purchase if you buy a gemstone or commission a custom piece.
This ensures dedicated time where we can discuss stones, design ideas, and your goals in detail.
How can I find you at shows?
We attend the Tucson Gem Show every year, and you can find us at the Pueblo Gem and Mineral Show.
Before each event, we post:
- Booth numbers
- Dates and hours
- Location details
- You’ll find this information on our website, Instagram, and email announcements.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer Shop Pay Installments at checkout, allowing you to split your purchase into manageable payments.
For custom jewelry projects, we also provide private payment plans that follow the design and production milestones.
What if gold prices change during the design process?
Your gold price is locked in at the estimate stage.
Once we finalize your quote, that metal cost does not change—even if the market fluctuates.
This protects you from unexpected increases and ensures full transparency.
What if a gemstone breaks?
We take gemstone safety extremely seriously.
If the stone breaks and it is our fault:
We will replace the stone at no cost to you.
If the stone is a material known for natural risks:
Some stones—such as fragile, included, heat-sensitive, or unstable materials—carry inherent risks of:
- Fracturing
- Color fading
- Internal stress
- Heat sensitivity during setting
In these cases, we will inform you before cutting or setting.
Once the risks are communicated and approved, we cannot be liable for material-related issues that occur naturally.
Can I return a gemstone?
Yes. Loose gemstones may be returned within 14 days of delivery, as long as:
- The stone has not been damaged
- The stone is in original condition
- It is returned with any included certificates or packaging
Returns are not accepted for stones that have been altered, damaged, or set into jewelry.
What if I don’t like the finished piece of custom jewelry?
Custom jewelry is made specifically for you, and because of that:
Custom jewelry is non-returnable.
However, we understand adjustments may sometimes be needed.
Minor modifications can often be made, and we will discuss any applicable costs based on the type of adjustment.
Our design process—complete with design reviews, confirmations, and pre-production approvals—is structured to ensure your piece is exactly what you expect.
